Overview
The Economy on the Elite Isle SMP is centered around the players. Player-made shops(see below) buy and sell a wide variety of goods using money. Money is used primarily for claiming land which is a crucial part of playing on the server. The primary method of ataining money is through Jobs (see below). You can also earn income by selling other players items through shops.

Jobs
You can also make money by doing jobs. Join a job with /jobs browse to select a job and begin making money. Each task you complete in your job can reward you with cash, these tasks can be anything from chopping wood to killing zombies. There are a variety of jobs to pick from but you can only have one at a time so make sure you have the right job selected.
